I designed this poster as a freelance commission for The Hippodrome Theatre. The concept foreshadows the play's central tragedy: Audrey is devoured by Audrey II, the plant that bears her name. I placed the two close together so they mirror each other, namesake and fate in a single frame. The vines crowding the edges trace the plant's takeover, slow and steady at first, then sudden and total. The poster is displayed at the front of the theatre and anchors the production's promotion across social media.
